Project information: the manuscripts, datasets, documents and messages you upload or exchange with our team.

Payment information: the amount and the payment reference (UTR) you submit. We do not collect or store your bank account or card numbers.

Usage information: basic technical logs needed to operate the platform securely.

• To verify payments and reconcile commissions for referrers and partners.
• To maintain a secure, tamper-evident audit trail of actions on your projects.

Your manuscripts and data are treated as strictly confidential. Access is restricted, on a need-to-know basis, to the DTRAS team members assigned to your project. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your research to train any machine-learning system.

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit. Files are held in a private store accessible only through short-lived, access-controlled links.

Sensitive credentials you provide for journal submission are encrypted at rest and are accessible only to the submission team for the purpose of submitting your work.

Row-level security governs every record so that you can see only your own data and staff see only what their role permits.

We share your information only as needed to provide the service: with the assigned members of our team, and with infrastructure providers (such as our hosting, database and email providers) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.

We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights. We do not share your personal data with advertisers.

You may access, correct or update your profile at any time from your account. You may request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated personal data, subject to records we are legally required to retain.

We retain project and account data for as long as your account is active and thereafter only as long as necessary to meet legal, accounting and audit requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

We use only essential cookies required to keep you signed in and to operate the platform securely. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
